Before that, I was 65 pounds overweight: addicted to Diet Coke, addicted to fast food, chained to poor eating habits, and miserable.
I thought I found the "cure" to my poor health when I lost all the weight and was tracking every bite that went into my mouth on an app: and I was convinced that doing so for the rest of my life was the only way to be "healthy" and "happy".
So when I found the Whole30, I was AMAZED to discover that while weight can be a helpful indicator of health, it's not even CLOSE to any kind of measure of TRUE HEALTH.
To say that my life was changed from the Whole30 would be a MAJOR understatement.
Since my first round of the Whole30 in 2015, I've successfully completed 7 rounds of the Whole30, and maximized the impact of those rounds by completing by-the-book Reintroduction of each food group to help diagnose and better understand my body's signals.
The Whole30 changed my life, but learning how to live after Whole30 has made all the difference in creating a confident, happy and healthy lifestyle that I can't believe I'm blessed to live.
Everyone is on board to look good and feel great. But The Whole30 is hard! You don't need a coach to do the Whole30 (everything you need is totally free at Whole30.com!). But if you "need help with the hard", have lots of questions, need lots of support, and want lots of help, joining my private, friendly coaching group will make your Whole30 easier and better than ever.
2 DAYS WHOLE30 PREP
30 DAYS OF WHOLE30 (January 1-30)
10 DAYS OF FAST TRACK REINTRODUCTION
2 DAYS OF FOOD FREEDOM PREP
44 days of online, group Whole30 coaching via private Facebook Group. I (Melissa) commit to spending several hours per day within the group answering your questions, cheering you on, starting discussions, and hosting live video chats on various Whole30 and Food Freedom topics. This group is PRIVATE: I only accept members fully committed to their Whole30, who are ready to be positive and encouraging to the other members in the group. I'll NEVER expect you to say anything or respond to anything unless you WANT to: if you want to be a wallflower in the group and just take things in, I won't pressure you! If you're posting questions about Xanthan Gum and Bridal Shower strategies every day, that's cool too.
Yep. I'll be LIVING inside this Facebook group for over 6 weeks-- answering your every question and calming your every concern. That's $3 a day for you, and a whole lot of work from me. At the end of the day, I do this because I love it, and I love helping you. I also want you to pay enough to really INVEST in your Whole30 and commit yourself to the group.
Fortunately, all the tools you need to complete the Whole30 are totally free at Whole30.com! Consider coaching as an "extra" for those who need extra accountability and have enough to pay for it.
I hope to provide lower-cost Whole30 Coaching services in the future, but as I currently work a full-time job alongside coaching, I only have the margin for one level of coaching support at this time.
So sorry, but no refunds. We'll still love you and welcome you to participate in the group for the remainder of the dates you've paid for: but I can't rearrange the timeline of the group or change my billing policy at an individual level at this time.
Yes! I'm happy to answer a private Facebook message or Instagram DM from you. Just remember that I'm not a doctor, nurse, dietitian, or any kind of medical professional qualified to answer your specific medical questions: but I will do my best to point you in the right direction or answer situational and Whole30-related questions.
I've lost weight in my Food Freedom and on the Whole30, and I know that so many find the Whole30 in the middle of their own weight loss journey. If that's you, I'm so glad you're ready to do a Whole30 and you want me to coach you! But I recommend you read this and this, and soul search a bit to make sure you're approaching the Whole30 with the right mindset.
I'll leave the Facebook Group as it is: you're welcome to go back to it to reference previous conversations, live chats and discussions! But I (Melissa) won't come back to the group after the date ends, as I'll be moving on to new coaching groups.
