Burger Salad (Whole30)

This Whole30 compliant salad isn’t so much a “recipe” as it is your guide to the right combination of ingredients to make your burger salad PERFECT. It starts with a burger patty: I form ground beef into thin patties, press the middle in with my thumb, and cook on a stove at medium high heat for 6 minutes per side, flipping twice (AKA 3 minutes, flip, 3 minutes, flip, 3 minutes, flip, 3 minutes, flip). For my greens, I go with a crunchy iceberg or green leaf. Then I add red onion for zip, radish for crunch, pickles for pucker, mustard for zing and Tessemae’s Ranch for creaminess. The secret ingredient to the perfect burger salad is DEFINITELY ranch! I’ve tried a ton of burger salad recipes with dozens of dressing combinations, ranch is definitely the flavor and texture that binds it all together.
