Northwoods Chicken Tenders (Whole30)
Disclaimer: you need Penzey's Spices Northwoods seasoning in order for this to work. You can easily order online if you don't have a store nearby- I linked it in the ingredients listing. It's sort of a smoky, garlic-y seasoning blend perfect for grilling. And it gives the tenders a kick!
Here’s what you need:
1 lb. Chicken Tenders
1/2 C. Almond Flour
3 Tbsp. Olive oil
Here’s what to do:
Mix the almond flour with Northwoods, salt, and pepper. Scramble the egg in a separate bowl.
Coat chicken tenders in egg mixture, and then almond flour mixture.
Saute in olive oil on medium high heat, 5 minutes per side. For extra-crispy browned tenders, close skillet with lid (but watch it doesn't get too smoky!)
