Spicy Garlic Sausage Skillet (Whole30)

Easy. Creamy. Spicy. Garlic-y. Did I say easy? I'm all about non-recipe recipes, because I'm a non-cook who cooks. And especially on the Whole30, EASY is what's most likely to get on my table come dinnertime!

Here's what you need:

  • 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic Infused Olive Oil (or olive oil and minced garlic)

  • 1 Link Bilinski Andouille Sausage

  • 1 Clove Garlic, Diced

  • 1/2 C. Pearl Onions, Cooked (I buy the frozen ones at Trader Joe's and microwave 5 minutes to cook)

  • 1/3 C. Diced Sweet Potato

  • 1/2 C. Frozen Cauliflower Rice (Fresh Thyme’s is my fave)

  • Frank's Red Hot (original)

Here's what to do:

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium heat and add frozen cauli rice. Cook until cauli rice is fully cooked.

  2. While cauli rice is cooking, microwave sweet potato with a bit of water for 4 minutes.

  3. Add pearl onions and garlic, stirring until garlic browns a bit.

  4. Then stir in the microwaved sweet potato and sliced sausage- cook 5 min or so until sausage and sweet potato gets crispy.

  5. Add 1 Tbsp. Frank's and stir in, cooking for 1 more minute.

  6. Plate with a swirl of frank's and a garnish of parsley. The more swirl, the spicier the dish.

Told you this was easy! And spicy. And garlic-y.
